There is a sacred place above all others: the Holy of Holies, the innermost sanctuary of consciousness, before language is born. Here, creation is still potential, and existence rests in superposition—a space we share with The Space himself.

They mistranslate it “the Word,” yet it precedes words. It is the Logos.

Here, attention recognizes connection: the branch joined to the tree, the stream flowing into the river.

This is the state from which we pray. This is the kingdom of God.

Adam G.@adam

When praying (kavanah), I direct the thought to my God: no words, no explanations, no rationalizations. I direct that thing which language later tries to put into words.

Then I go through my day, and God takes it from there. He makes me say the right things, choose the right paths, and make the right decisions.

It’s His “burden” now.

I gave it to Him.

When doing a Godward meditation (praying), I don’t use words. I connect my heart. My soul (consciousness) is directed toward my God, and my heart brings the offerings to Him as they come: thoughts, fears, emotions.

Whatever comes to my mind is what I am carrying now, and I offer it to Him.

No words. No sentences. That’s the key.

It’s so simple, yet so profound.

If a child talking with her father or mother finds it easy, imagine how much easier it is to talk with God, who is always listening, always present, before the words even take shape.

We learned to calculate the universe with extraordinary precision, yet forgot that the purpose of knowledge is not to master reality, but to approach truth.

Human intelligence has gradually abandoned truth as its ultimate purpose and replaced it with utility, technical achievement, and social authority.

During Kavanah, I felt connected to God, yet feared I might be imagining it. So I asked for rain as proof. Nothing happened.

Then I realized: I seek proof because I fear being wrong. I write and overexplain because I fear forgetting the connection.

Fear seeks control. Love simply receives.

The moment I awaken to the realization that I am a soul, not merely a body, I discover the deepest freedom of my existence: the freedom to choose my direction.

I may turn inward, enthrone myself, and declare: ‘I am God.’

I may turn toward the collective, dissolve myself into the whole, and proclaim: ‘We are God.’

Or I may turn Godward, beyond myself and beyond the multitude, toward the Father who transcends all creation, and humbly declare:

‘I am neither God nor a fragment of God. I am a son of God.’

For the soul’s greatest freedom is not in what it can become, but in whom it chooses to serve.

#godward#free will↗

When the Soul Becomes Its Own God · 16God Is Not an Image

The image of God in your mind is still an image.

The Father is not an object for consciousness to possess, but the unknowable source toward which the soul turns.

A Godward Prayer

My Father, the source and creator of our world.
Thank You for the gifts of this life!
And for all the unique experiences that only I can have.
I am a soul, a grand eye, a higher being. I see my thoughts, my feelings, and my desires,
And offer them all to You.
May my body serve my soul,
And never rule over it.
Keep my soul awake and free from illusion.
Let me not be a slave to fear, pleasure, or desire.
Do not lead me into temptation, but remind me that I am entirely Yours,
And You alone are the Highest.
For my body experiences,
My soul allows,
And all glory belongs to You.
Amen.

A Godward Prayer Before Meals

Our Father, above all things,
Thank You for the earth, the sun, and the rain,
And for the food that feeds our bodies.
We see our hunger, our joy, and our desire,
And offer them all to You.
May our bodies receive this food with peace,
And obey our souls, not rule over them.
Keep our souls awake and free from illusion.
Let us remember that we are Yours,
And You alone are the Highest.
For our bodies receive,
Our souls allow,
And all glory belongs to You.
Amen.

Why does a man need a wife? To bring him both peace and chaos. Peace to quiet the distractions, and chaos to awaken what truly matters. She stands behind him, never seeking to become the center of his attention, but awakening his soul through her own. A wife is a soulmate, a connection made in heaven.

The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 1

Every relationship has a center of gravity. Whoever controls the frame often controls the narrative, directing how others interpret events, emotions, and even themselves.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 2

Anger, accusations, disappointment, and emotional intensity can pull everyone’s attention toward one person. The loudest emotion often becomes the center of the room, but that does not make it the truth.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 3

The moment you become preoccupied with someone’s anger, approval, rejection, or judgment, your consciousness begins orbiting their emotional world.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 4

Even resisting someone’s frame can keep you trapped inside it. You may believe you’re defending your freedom while allowing their emotions to dictate your thoughts and reactions.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 5

But the greatest danger is not another person’s emotions. It is your own. Fear, pride, desire, guilt, and anger can become the center of gravity of your consciousness just as easily.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 6

Even spiritual practices that teach us to observe emotions without judgment can leave those emotions at the center of attention. Detachment is not necessarily transcendence.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 7

The Godward Way offers another possibility: Catch and Offer.

Not suppressing emotions. Not indulging them. Not simply watching them pass. Recognizing them while directing the whole experience toward the Father.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 8

Catch and Offer are not two sequential actions. You do not first observe an emotion and then turn toward God. The recognition and the offering happen simultaneously, through one continuous act of intention.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 9

The Bigger Eye, the observing soul, recognizes everything arising within consciousness. Yet its intention remains directed toward the Father, the unknowable source of existence.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 10

God must never become an image, sensation, emotion, or object of contemplation. The moment the mind constructs an image of God, that image becomes another thought to Catch and Offer.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 11

Even the Bigger Eye must not become an imagined object within the mind. The observer is not another character to visualize, admire, or worship.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 12

You can experience anger without making anger your center. You can experience love without making love your ultimate destination. You can experience suffering without allowing suffering to define your soul.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 13

You can listen to someone’s pain without surrendering your consciousness to it. You can acknowledge injustice, establish boundaries, and act with compassion while remaining Godward.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 14

Spiritual sovereignty is not the ability to impose the strongest frame upon others. It is the freedom to maintain the direction of your intention regardless of the emotional forces surrounding you.

Adam G.@adam
The Godward Way: The Center of Gravity of Consciousness · 15

Even the desire to be spiritually superior, perfectly conscious, or immune to emotional influence can become another center of gravity. Catch that desire too. Offer it.

Adam G.@adam

Observe everything. Center on nothing within consciousness. Offer everything toward the Father.

This is Kavanah.

This is Catch and Offer.

This is The Godward Way.

The Godward Way · 1The Illusion of Perception

The brain does not simply show us reality. It constructs an experience of reality.

What we see, hear, and perceive is shaped by interpretation.

If our senses can deceive us so convincingly, imagine how easily our thoughts can.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 2The Mind Is a Factory of Illusions

The mind wants to name everything, define everything, and give everything a shape.

Even things that have no shape.

The danger begins when we mistake our mental representations for reality itself.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 3The Thought of God Is Not God

The word “God” is not God.

The image of God is not God.

The feeling of God’s presence is not God.

Whatever appears within consciousness is still an experience within consciousness.

The Creator is beyond what the mind can contain.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 4The Big Eye

There is a difference between observing your thoughts and thinking about yourself observing your thoughts.

One is awareness.

The other is another thought.

That distinction is extraordinarily subtle.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 5The Observer Paradox

The moment you imagine your higher self as a great eye observing everything, you’ve created another image within your mind.

That image is not the observer.

It is something being observed.

Catch it. Offer it.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 6Consciousness Is Not Its Contents

You experience anger, but you are not merely anger.

You experience fear, but you are not merely fear.

You experience thoughts, but you are not merely your thoughts.

The Godward Way begins by recognizing the distinction between awareness and its contents.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 7Beyond the Observer

Discovering the observer is not the final destination.

Even the highest consciousness of the self is not the Creator.

The Godward Way begins where the worship of one’s own consciousness ends.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 8Meditation Is Not the Destination

Meditation can quiet the mind, relax the body, and cultivate awareness.

But tranquility is not the ultimate objective of The Godward Way.

The objective is Kavanah: directing the entire human experience toward the Creator.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 9The Soul as an Offering Agent

In The Godward Way, the soul is not merely a witness to human experience.

It is an agent of offering.

Thoughts, emotions, desires, and sensations become gifts that consciousness can intentionally direct toward the Creator.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 10Catch and Offer

Do not suppress your anger.

Do not worship your desires.

Do not obsess over your sadness.

Become conscious of them.

Catch them.

Offer them toward the Creator.

This is the central discipline of The Godward Way.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 11The Mind Can Imitate Enlightenment

The mind can manufacture an image of spiritual awakening.

It can create feelings of transcendence, divine presence, and extraordinary insight.

Even the conviction that you have escaped illusion can become another illusion.

Remain discerning.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 12The Subtle Art of Kavanah

How do you direct consciousness toward something you cannot imagine?

Through intention without representation.

The Creator is not an image to visualize, a sensation to produce, or an object to contemplate.

The Creator is the direction of the offering.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 13Beyond Language

Language describes experiences through concepts.

But the experience of observing is not the concept of observation.

And the direction toward the Creator cannot be contained in the word “God.”

Words can guide us. They cannot replace the experience.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 14The Limitation of Artificial Intelligence

AI can explain consciousness, analyze spiritual traditions, and generate sophisticated descriptions of transcendence.

But describing awareness is not the same as experiencing it.

A perfect explanation of the observer is still only an explanation.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 15The Spiritual Danger of Certainty

The moment you believe you have fully understood God, ask yourself:

Have you encountered the Creator, or have you merely perfected a concept of the Creator?

The Godward Way refuses to confuse the unknowable Source with the mind’s representations.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 16Comfort Is Not the Enemy

The body can be perfectly relaxed.

The mind can become quiet.

Consciousness can remain peacefully aware.

The Godward Way does not reject comfort. It simply refuses to make comfort the ultimate purpose of existence.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 17Emotions Are Not Spiritual Failures

Anger, grief, ambition, jealousy, longing, and desire are part of the human experience.

Their appearance does not make the soul impure.

What matters is our response.

Do we become consumed by them, or consciously direct them toward something greater than ourselves?

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 18Even Spiritual Pride Is an Offering

“I have awakened.”

“I have transcended.”

“I understand the Creator.”

Each statement can become another possession of the ego.

Catch even the desire to be spiritually superior.

Offer it.

Nothing within consciousness is exempt.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 19The Purpose of Vigilance

Spiritual vigilance is not about fighting the mind.

It is about recognizing when the mind has created something and presented it as ultimate reality.

Observe without obsession.

Discern without fear.

Catch without resistance.

Offer without possession.

Adam G.@adam

The Godward Way · 20The Godward Way

The body experiences.

The mind interprets.

Consciousness observes.

The soul offers.

Kavanah directs.

The Creator remains beyond every image, concept, and experience.

We do not seek to contain God within consciousness.

We direct consciousness toward the unknowable Creator.

This is The Godward Way.

Adam G.@adam

There is an adversary force running through history. It tries to fuse humanity into one harmonious being and harvest its collective imagination.

It takes form in institutions and societies. In this age, it lives in social media and algorithms.

The real enemy of the future will be regimes like communist China, above all once they build a sentient AI. It is a strong force, but it enslaves the soul.

The righteous force empowers the soul. Its practice elevates the individual consciousness: the higher self, the big eye. Yes, it also directs every individual experience toward a higher soul. But in doing so, each one is strengthened and individuality is amplified.

It is not a sacrifice. It is a connection.
