The Signature of Light

1 min · Adam G.

Your signature of light is the unique pattern through which your existence is expressed. In this protocol, the phrase includes the convictions, identifications, expectations, and attachments you repeatedly sustain. It gives a name to the quality of presence that travels with you.

At the base is the simple awareness of being: I AM.

This is the awareness of existing before a description is added. Personality, physical condition, occupation, and biography all appear within experience. The awareness that receives them is what the practice approaches as the bare ground of being.

Around that ground arise temporary configurations: “I am healthy,” “I am weak,” “I am respected,” “I am ignored.” Each adds a condition to the underlying awareness of existence. A condition may become so familiar that it appears inseparable from the one experiencing it.

The work begins by loosening that fusion. A condition can be present without occupying the whole of who you are.

Notice the difference directly. There is a sensation in the body. There is a thought about that sensation. There is a story about what the sensation means for your future. Awareness is already present through all three.

You do not need to invent another observer behind the first. If an image of a watcher appears, it too is something being noticed. Let it be caught and offered while your intention remains Godward.

The human I AM and God the Father occupy distinct places in this guide. Your awareness is the ground from which you attend; the Father is the Creator toward whom you are oriented. Recognizing awareness does not confer divine authority on a personal wish.

The signature of light changes as one’s actual manner of being changes. A new label becomes useful only insofar as the practitioner ceases to live from the old identification.
